JACOB HALVERSON Im sorry I have been so absent as of late, being sick has killed me! I did have my final ideas for my AHA cube moment pretty much as soon as I left the room after my midterm meeting. Even without much to show, both you guys gave me some great input. I wanted it the cubes to resemble my triptych and tell the same story but in a different way!
What discoveries have you made throughout the project? That sometimes things on screen print differently on paper and you have to quickly accommodate for that! Also things can be subtle and still get the point across. What have you learned or experienced from working on the 2D narrative project to the 3D Cube project? I liked it actually, building things with your hands from time to time as a designer instead of strictly computer based projects is fun, tedious, but fun! How has your ideas about graphic design changed since you began the class? It has changed a lot. I mostly have only done projects in the past for clients with strict guidelines and mostly commercial. Doing these past few projects have allowed me to do more artistic things and branch out, while still staying in certain guidelines. It really is boosting my ideas as far as out of class projects go as well!
